Milk
and Honey, Inc. was established in 1982 by Nolan and Zandra Lewallen.
Through this ministry, the Lewallens have published and
distributed various Christian publications through the years.
The first publication was The Cowboy Pictorial
Edition of the Holy
Bible,
which was distributed in all fifty states in the United States and more
than a dozen countries around the world. Later came the Sports
Edition of the
Bible,
and most recently, Nolan's first book, Where's
My 100-Fold
Return? A Troubleshooting Guide for the Discouraged Tither.
They are planning to publish Zandra's first book, An
Encouraging Word for a
Very Bad Day,
in early 2010.
In
addition to publishing, the Lewallens have both ministered in a number
of churches, home fellowships, men's and ladies' groups, and (once) on
television. Nolan and Zandra have both served
as local chapter leaders of men's and ladies' groups,
respectively. They have also helped "pioneer" two
churches--one in Texas and one in Georgia--in the living rooms of their
homes; both of which are still in existence today.
Nolan
and Zandra have been married since 1975 and have been serving the Lord
since 1978. They have four children and five grandchildren.
They reside near Stephenville, Texas, which is in the Fort
Worth area. Nolan also works as an airline pilot for American Airlines.
(Paul was a tent-maker, you know.) and is based at Dallas-Fort Worth
International Airport.
